Tryone was introduced by a friend to salsa in 2002 in Ottawa. When he came back to Toronto, he started learning the cuban style. Tyrone was dancing in the clubs for 2 years but he wasn't as serious back then as he is now.
He took a break in 2004 and in 2006 and decided to go to Acrobat to see if he still had it. With my very limited repetoire, Tyrone found out that evening that he needed to take lessons again. So, he ended up taking lessons with Toronto Dance Salsa. A year later, after completing all the levels, he became a helper for 2 years. The addiction and love Tyrone has for the art started to grow even more and it came full cirlce in 2008 with formation of the Salsa GGGs. His biggest thrills were performing at the Ifreestyle X-mas party with his fellow TDS compadres, competing at the second annual TDS amateur competition.
As a teacher, Tyrone get's to introduce the art to a new generation and to others who are not familiar with the art but want to learn.
