RAY & ANNETTE GONZALEZ
DIRECTORS OF SALSA STORM
SALSA & LATIN DANCE INSTRUCTORS/PERFORMERS
Ray and Annette, both native New Yorkers with Latin heritage, found Salsa dancing later in life. He at the age of 34 and she at 28. In 2001, having no past personal experience with this dance, they like most people, had a curiosity and wanted to try it. Ray and Annette didn’t expect what they found. The passion, the excitement and the environment pulled them right in…they were hooked for life!! It was obvious to them that they needed to be involved in a much deeper sense. Ray and Annette knew then what they are unwaveringly convinced of now…..Salsa affects people’s lives!
Since 2005, this dynamic salsa duo and studio co-owners, Ray and Annette Gonzalez of Salsa Storm Instructors, Inc. continue to share with Central Worcester County, an inspired and unique Latin culture through their love of Salsa dancing. Having many years of salsa dance training and business education, they fulfilled one of their dreams and officially opened the doors to their first dance studio in 2007. The following year they expanded their location to include two additional state-of-the art studios along with and a beautiful boutique named "Spotlight Boutique".
Testimony…
…We run the classes with our humor and easy going teaching style while making sure everyone has a great time in class. Within the course of a session, we find the transformation in people is very evident… shy people begin building confidence, students who start with two left feet begin to move in ways they didn’t know they could and many students claim to feel rejuvenated. Over the years of teaching others how to dance Salsa, Cha Cha, Merengue and Bachata, our main purpose is still very much intact. It’s our hope to expose as many people as possible to the beauty of Latin dance and the culture from which it originates, while at the same time, helping students realize that EVERYONE has a dancer inside them just dying to break out!
